What events can I subscribe to?
Webhooks are available for 50+ events including: appointment.created, appointment.updated, client.created, payment.completed, invoice.sent, staff.schedule_changed, and many more. Filter by event type, location, or staff member.
How do I verify webhook authenticity?
Every webhook payload is signed with HMAC SHA-256 using your webhook secret. Verify the X-InkedCore-Signature header matches your computed signature to ensure the webhook is genuine.
What happens if my endpoint is down?
We automatically retry failed deliveries up to 5 times with exponential backoff (1min, 5min, 30min, 2hr, 24hr). You can view failed deliveries and manually retry from the webhook logs.
Can I test webhooks during development?
Yes! Use our webhook testing tool to send sample payloads to your endpoint. You can also use our CLI to receive webhooks locally during development without exposing your dev environment.
